We are officially into our second week of summer camp, and everyone is enjoying new summer activities! As we settle into our warm-weather routines, please take a moment to review these important updates.

Upcoming Holiday Closure

  • Friday, July 3rd: School will be CLOSED in observance of the Independence Day holiday. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and happy holiday weekend with family and friends!

BBM Safety & Security Reminders

To help us maintain a secure and safe environment, please keep these two building policies in mind during drop-off and pick-up:

  • Playground Entry Gate: Please be mindful when entering and exiting the playground. Do not slam the entry gate shut, as this can wear down the latch mechanism and will need to be repaired.
  • Church Entrance Doors: If you are entering or exiting through the side church doors, please double-check to make sure they shut and lock completely all the way behind you. Please do not prop doors open or assume they will click shut on their own.

Health Appraisal Updates

We are currently auditing our student files for the summer and upcoming Academic Year.

  • Action Needed: If you have not turned in a new Health Appraisal for your child within the last 3 months, please contact your pediatrician. You can often ask them to fill one out based on your child’s last physical exam, or schedule an upcoming appointment.
  • Why it matters: We need to ensure all paperwork is fully compliant so we do not have to delay your child’s start date for upcoming sessions.
  • Thank You: If you have already turned in an updated form recently, we greatly appreciate your promptness!

Staffing Updates & Warm Welcomes

We have a few exciting updates regarding our teaching team this summer:

  • Welcome Back Ms. Alyssa: Ms. Alyssa was with us last summer and she is re-joining us for Summer as the Lead Teacher.
  • Welcoming Ms. Barbara: Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Ms. Barbara, who is joining the Yellow Room team!
  • Welcoming Ms. Monika: We are also thrilled to welcome Ms. Monika, who will be supporting both the Red and Blue rooms.
  • Wishing Ms. Kelly Well: We want to share that Ms. Kelly is moving on from BBM to pursue other opportunities. We wish her all the best!
