As we move through the rest of our summer camp, we are preparing for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year! Please review these important dates and updates as you plan for August and Fall.

Preschool Uniform Swap

We know how quickly our students grow! To help our Preschool families prepare for the Fall, we are hosting a Uniform Swap:

  • How It Works: Families are invited to bring in clean, gently-used uniform items that their child has outgrown. You can drop off your items anytime in the office.
  • “Shopping” the Swap: We will set up a designated area where families can browse and pick out donated items that fit their child for the upcoming school year! This is a great time for new Preschool and Red Room parents whose students are moving to the Yellow Room to look over uniforms that our older students have outgrown!

More details on drop-off dates and the “shopping” schedule will be shared soon via Brightwheel.

Early Closure Notice: Friday, August 14

  • Dream Cruise Early Closure: School will close early at 3:30 PM on Friday, August 14, so our staff and families can avoid the heavy congestion in the area.

End of Summer Camp & Academic Year

  • August 24 – August 28: School will be CLOSED for our annual Teacher In-Service weeks as our team prepares the classrooms and curriculum for the Fall.
  • August 25, 5:00pm: Parent Orientation for NEW families. One parent must attend. This will be a brief overview of our daily schedule, curriculum and an introduction from our teachers. No children please. Current and new families will be invited to our Curriculum Night later in October.
  • Monday, August 31: First Day of the Academic Year! Give yourself extra time on this day as the school will be busy!
  • Monday, September 7: School will be CLOSED for Labor Day.

Late Summer Reminders

  • Health Appraisals: If your child has a well visit scheduled soon, don’t forget to have them fill out a new Health Appraisal if it’s been a while. Preschool Health Appraisals are due for all students every 2 years and every year for all Toddlers.
  • Attendance Changes: Please remember to notify us through Brightwheel if your child will be absent or running late for camp.
