Spring is a season of growth and transition! We have several important events and logisitcal updates for the coming weeks. Please review the details below, especially regarding our upcoming Montessori Showcase and the Rummage Sale schedule.

Reminder: 5% Enrollment Discount

The deadline for the 5% Early Bird Discount for Fall enrollment is Tuesday, March 31.

Toddler Parents: Please remember that you now need to fill out both a Summer and a Fall form

Yellow Room Montessori Showcase & Info Night

Thursday, April 23 | 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

We invite our Yellow Room (Preschool/Kindergarten) families to join us for a special Showcase!

  • Student-Led: Students can bring their grown-ups into the classroom to show off their favorite works and highlight what they have been focusing on lately.
  • Drop-In Event: This is a flexible, drop-in event; feel free to come at or a little earlier than your usual pickup time.
  • Kindergarten Chat: This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with Ms. Eunice specifically about the Kindergarten curriculum and what to expect for the upcoming year!

Rummage Sale Logistics (Week of April 27)

The church will be hosting its annual Rummage Sale from Thursday, April 30, through Saturday, May 2. Due to the high volume of volunteers and shoppers, we will be adjusting our routines to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Lower Level Drop-off/Pick-up: For the entire week, please use the lower level for all drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • No Playground: We will not be using the playground during this week, as the church grounds will be very busy with sale preparations.
  • Early Closure: School will close early at 3:30 PM on Thursday, April 30, to coincide with the start of the open sale. We are closed on Friday for Parent Teacher Conferences– see below.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

A reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are approaching on Friday, May 1.

  • School is CLOSED for students on this day.
  • Keep an eye on LineLeader in the coming weeks for a sign-up link to schedule a time to meet with your child’s teacher.

Upcoming Events and Reminders

  • Next week, each classroom is having an egg hunt. More info will be on LineLeader from your child’s teachers.
  • In April, we will be celebrating both Earth Day and the Universal Day of Culture. More info to come on both of those exciting days!
  • Health Appraisals: If your child has a well-visit this month, please bring this Health Appraisal for your doctor to sign.
  • Illness Policy: Remember to keep your child home if they are ill. Students cannot return until they are 24 hours symptom free without the use of medications.
  • Attendance: Please message LineLeader for any schedule changes or absences.
  • Spring Clothes: Please swap the “extra” clothes in your child’s cubby for warmer-weather outfits!
