BBM News & Highlights | January 22, 2026

As we continue our inaugural year together, many of you are beginning to look ahead to the next academic year. Please see the information below for re-registration and opportunities to learn about our Montessori program.

As you may have noticed, we continue to welcome new students weekly and we’re also continuing to hire teachers to accommodate our growing classrooms. We recently welcomed Ms. Kalicia to the Blue Room!

Winter Weather

While no exact winter weather would indicate closure, we want to make sure it’s safe for staff and families to travel to school. With the forecast on Friday, if road conditions stay fair, we would not close. With that being said, we understand some families may not want to go out in the frigid temps! If you have decided to not brave the weather, give us a head’s up as soon as you know.

Enrollment

In the coming weeks, we’ll release our Summer Camp Schedule and the 26-27 Academic Year Enrollment Forms. Our current families will have the first chance to register before opening registration up to the public. In addition, families who re-register before the end of March will receive a 5% discount on next year’s tuition.

For Pre-Primary (ages 3-6):

  • Summer Camp will run for 10 weeks (June 15-August 21), following the end of our Academic Year. There is a 6 week minimum to attend Summer Camp. Tuition is due weekly in summer.
  • The 26-27 Academic Year begins 8/31/26 and we will offer similar programs as this year. Families can register for half or academic days and then add on before and/or aftercare.

For Toddlers (ages 18 months – 3 years)

  • Toddlers are enrolled year-round until they move to the Preschool program. They will get to participate in our “Summer Camp” activities such as in-house field trips.
  • Between June 15 and August 21, Toddler families may request up to 2 weeks’ vacation where tuition will not be charged. A vacation request form is available in the office.
  • Toddlers can move to the Pre-Primary (preschool/K) program when they are at least 2 years 9 months and toilet-trained. Teachers will be in touch with toddler parents ahead of the transition.
  • Toddler families will need to re-enroll each year. A new tuition rate will be available soon (with an 5% discount incentive) and the new contract will take effect June 1.

Kindergarten Information Night

For our pre-primary families, you may be thinking about the next big milestone: Kindergarten.

Because we opened our doors just last June, we know this is a new journey for many of our families. You might be wondering, “What makes a Montessori Kindergarten different from a traditional one?” In a Montessori environment, Kindergarten is a year of exponential growth. It is the time when children move from concrete learning to abstract understanding. Here, your child won’t just memorize facts; they will master the “why” behind math, language, and social dynamics. There is no other program out there that can go as far academically as the Montessori Kindergarten curriculum.

Join us on January 29 at 5:00 PM for a deep dive into our Kindergarten program. Ms. Eunice will discuss:

  • The Power of Choice: How self-directed work builds incredible focus and time-management skills.
  • Advanced Materials: A hands-on look at the math and literacy tools that set our students ahead.
  • The Emerging Leader: How our environment encourages 5-year-olds to take ownership of their classroom and their learning.

Open House

While our current families do not need to attend, we are hoping that you can spread the word and invite anyone who is looking for a Montessori preschool. We’ll provide a graphic that you can share with anyone you may think is interested.
