February is here, and our classrooms are filled with the spirit of friendship and community! We have a very busy month ahead. Please review the updates below to stay informed.

- Monday, February 16: School will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Valentine’s Spirit Week: Feb 9th – 13th
To celebrate “Grace and Courtesy,” we invite all students to participate in our low-stress theme days. Yellow room does not need to wear uniforms this week:
- Mon, Feb 9 | “Sweet as Can Be”: Wear your favorite color.
- Tue, Feb 10 | “Cozy Hearts”: Wear favorite pajamas or loungewear.
- Wed, Feb 11 | “Peace & Friendship”: Wear tie-dye or a positive message shirt.
- Thu, Feb 12 | “Wild About Kindness”: Wear animal prints or animal shirts.
- Fri, Feb 13 | “Heart of the School”: Wear Red, Pink, or Purple.
Friendship Celebrations & Valentines
- Yellow Room (14 students): Celebrating on Thursday, Feb 12 10:00 (refer to Ms. Eunice’s LineLeader message on 1/23 for details)
- Red Room (8 students): Celebrating on Friday, Feb 13 at 10:30 (refer to Ms. Claudia’s LineLeader message on 1/30 for details)
- Blue Room (11 students): Celebrating on Friday, Feb 13 during the morning (refer to Ms. Audrey’s LineLeader message on 1/23 for details)
A Note on Valentines: Please sign your child’s name in the “From” section, but leave the “To” section blank. This allows the children to practice “delivery” work independently and ensures everyone is included!

Re-Enrollment: Summer & Fall 2026
Secure your spot for next year! Families who re-enroll before March 31 receive a 5% discount. Please review the two attached price sheets before completing the forms.
- Toddlers: Re-enroll at birminghambloomfieldmontessori.com/current-families.
- Preschool & Kindergarten (Fall): Complete the form at birminghambloomfieldmontessori.com/current-families.
- Summer Camp (Preschool – 5th Grade): Register at birminghambloomfieldmontessori.com/summer. (10 weeks available; 6-week minimum).
Staffing & Pickup Times
To ensure we maintain proper staff-to-child ratios and stay within licensing compliance, we ask that families be mindful of their scheduled pickup times. We coordinate our staffing based on the specific number of children scheduled each hour.
- Advance Scheduling: Any “extra” time needed must be scheduled ahead of time for staffing purposes; it is not a service we can offer on-demand.
- Late Pickups: Please notify us on LineLeader as soon as you know you may be late. Please be aware that late arrivals may incur an additional fee.
Health & Illness Update
We are increasing our sanitizing procedures to combat the recent uptick in illnesses. Please keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. They may return only after being symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.
