
Daily Essentials
- Small backpack or tote (labeled with first and last name)
- Close-toed shoes for outdoor play (athletic shoes are best)
- Comfortable indoor shoes/slippers for the classroom
Please avoid bulky slippers, characters, or charms/jibbitz for Crocs. Crocs Example, Slipper Example - Winter Gear in the colder months. Pack snowpants, mittens & hat in the provided bag & leave one pair of boots at the school for the duration of winter.
Meals & Drinks (make sure everything is labeled with first and last name)
- Morning snack
- Afternoon snack (for Academic & Full Day students)
- Lunch in an insulated lunchbox (for Academic & Full Day students)
- Choose a lunchbox that your child can be as independent as possible with.
- Include a simple cloth placemat/napkin similar to this example link.
- Add an ice pack if lunch needs to stay cold (we cannot refrigerate).
- If food needs to stay warm, heat it in the morning and send in a thermos (we cannot reheat food).
- Snacks can also be packed inside the lunchbox.
- Sippy cup or water bottle (labeled with first and last name).
Rest Time (for Academic & Full Day students)
- Toddlers are most independent with an all-in-one nap mat
- Bedding must go home weekly for laundering.
Clothing & Shoes
- Easy-to-manage clothing (elastic waistbands preferred; please avoid overalls, snaps, or buttons).
- Weather-appropriate outerwear (we go outside daily).
- Closed-toed shoes for the playground.
Occasionally / As Needed
- Two complete changes of clothes (shirt, bottoms, socks, underwear).
- If toilet training: send 6 pairs of underwear.
- Pack each set in a labeled gallon-size zip bag.
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Diaper cream (requires signed medication form)
Health & Safety
- Sunscreen and/or insect repellent (labeled, no aerosol cans)

✅ Tip for Parents: Even at this age, children are learning independence! The right containers, shoes, and clothing make it easier for your toddler to practice “doing it myself.”
